Herbal Tea

“Herbal Tea” follows Shivanie, a young Tamil-American sex therapist who is forced to keep her profession a secret from her traditional family. An unexpected encounter with a family member at work flings her through an odyssey of cultural taboos and familial pressures that unfold at her grandmother’s birthday party, where she will come face to face with the stigmas present in her family, and ultimately discover the true value of her profession for her community.
