14m Documentary 2026

Set in Kanha, the site of India’s first wildlife-driven village relocation, this film follows the lives of families displaced from their ancestral homes to create Kanha National Park, one of India’s most celebrated conservation landscapes.

Spanning relocations from the 1960s to 2017, it traces how relocation policies and lived realities have shifted over time. It reminds us that the parks we celebrate today were not shaped not by nature alone, but also by the people who left their homes behind.
